Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support children ages 2–6 within an interdisciplinary early intervention model using the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).

You will assess speech and language needs, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver pediatric speech therapy, and collaborate with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and families to build meaningful communication skills and functional goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification or eligible for Clinical Fellowship.
• Current license to practice speech language pathology.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• AAC experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2–6 in an early intervention setting.
• Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate communication goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed approach to early intervention.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child’s evolving needs.
