Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to deliver direct pediatric speech therapy for children ages 2–6 under the supervision of a licensed SLP, within an ES DM-informed, play-based model.

You will collaborate with RBTs, OTs, and other clinicians, incorporate AAC strategies, work with families to set goals, and help children progress communication in everyday settings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required and eligible for state licensure.
• Active SLPA license/registration and ASHA C-SLPA certification required.
• Experience with pediatric therapy and AAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct pediatric speech therapy sessions for children ages 2–6 under supervising SLP.
• Implement functional communication interventions and AAC strategies in an early intervention setting.
• Integrate speech and language goals into ESDM-informed, play-based care model.
• Collaborate with RBTs, OTs, and other clinicians to reinforce goals throughout the day.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies for home use.
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, play-based communication interventions.
