Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide pediatric speech therapy within an interdisciplinary early intervention model for children aged 2–6 with autism. You’ll work with a team using the ESDM approach, focusing on AAC and communication skills while engaging families and other clinicians.

The role offers 4x10 or 5x8 schedules, with a base pay range of $86,000 to $108,500 per year and a performance bonus up to $3,800 plus additional certification incentives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP required, unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship position.
• Current license to practice speech language pathology.
• Experience working with children preferred; AAC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2–6 in an early intervention setting.
• Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate communication goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed approach to early intervention.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child’s evolving needs.
