Job summary

Soar Autism Center seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join our pediatric team in delivering evidence-based speech therapy to children aged 2–6 within an early intervention framework that uses the ESDM approach to support natural development.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team including OTs, BC BAs, psychologists, and other clinicians, applying AAC strategies when appropriate and partnering with families to set meaningful, practical goals for home and daily routines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required, unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship position.
• Current license to practice speech language pathology.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• AAC experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2–6 in an early intervention setting
• Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians
• Integrate communication goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed approach to early intervention
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child’s evolving needs
