Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Pediatrics-Hosp team for night shift. You will care for pediatric patients as part of a small, dedicated team dedicated to exceptional care.

The role includes assessments, care planning, direct patient care, and collaboration with the health care team, with occasional float duties to Women Infant Services and Med/Surg floors.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice; BLS is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired; one year acute care experience in past 12 months preferred.
• Banner Registry roles require a minimum of one year RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational needs and discharge planning.
• Formulates and revises the plan of care with input from patient, family and health team.
• Implements care, coordinates and supervises the health care team per physician orders.
• Evaluates patient and family response to care and updates the plan as needed.
• Documents interventions and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and supports education of facility personnel and patients.
