Advocate Health is seeking May 2027 graduates in Respiratory Therapy to join a pediatric hospital with a world-class NICU at Park Ridge. The role is per diem/registry with flexible shifts to accommodate school responsibilities.

Under supervision, you will assist with basic respiratory therapies, equipment handling, and patient care activities while developing clinical skills in a high-acuity pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• No prior work experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a licensed respiratory therapist, perform basic respiratory therapy procedures such as oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, aerosol therapy and incentive spirometry.
• Maintain and organize respiratory equipment and supplies according to department standards.
• Assist with patient positioning and transport as needed, observing safety procedures.
