Job summary
Blue Cloud is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our pediatric ambulatory surgery center team in California. You will provide postoperative and anesthesia recovery care, monitor patients, and collaborate with dentists and anesthesiologists to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 60 days of hire. Preferred candidates have ICU or perioperative nursing experience and a patient-focused, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications
- Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) on hire.
- ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
- Assess and document patient status upon arrival in the recovery room.
- Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
- Monitor patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.
