Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking a full-time Pediatric Psychiatric Clinical RN Supervisor to manage the unit's staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

The incumbent will lead nursing and support teams, oversee staffing, and collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to meet unit goals while addressing emergent patient issues through BERT within a trauma-informed Sanctuary Model framework.

Qualifications

• Requires active Arizona RN license or compact license.
• Active BLS, PALS or PEARS certification.
• Experience leading a nursing team in a psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily clinical operations of the unit to ensure quality family-centered care.
• Supervise nurses and support staff; manage staffing and attendance in collaboration with leadership.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet unit goals and respond to emergent patient issues (BERT).
• Promote trauma-informed care and Sanctuary Model training; foster a positive, safe, therapeutic environment.
