Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. seeks a Nursing Services Supervisor to coordinate shift operations and serve as the clinical resource for patients, families and the care team, aligning daily care with organizational goals and standards.

The role provides clinical leadership of nursing and support staff, oversees staffing, throughput, safety, documentation and quality metrics, and partners with management to foster a culture of learning and engagement.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona RN license or RN Compact license with multistate privileges.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers prior to start date.
• PEARS, PALS, or NRP certification OR obtained within 9 months of hire.
• Current and valid nursing certification in clinical nursing expertise OR able to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operational activities to deliver quality family-centered care.
• Manage patient throughput and staffing processes to match patient needs and staff competencies.
• Mentor staff to ensure professional growth and engagement.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, HIPAA and safety standards.
