Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Three years nursing experience.
• One year supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience with pediatric patient populations.
• Current and valid Arizona RN license/RN Compact license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current PALS or NRP certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current and valid nursing certification in clinical nursing expertise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily clinical operational activities of the unit and organization.
• Manages patient throughput and oversees admissions, discharges, transfers, and rounds.
• Oversees staffing processes and ensures appropriate skill mix and coverage.
• Ensures staff have supplies, equipment, and information to provide safe care.
• Mentors staff and promotes professional development and engagement.
• Collaborates with leadership to ensure quality patient care and safety goals.
