Job summary

Advocate Children’s Hospital Park Ridge is seeking an experienced RN for the Nursing Float Pool. You will perform patient assessments, plan and implement care, and collaborate with the care team across units during self-scheduled shifts on a 36-hour week, including nights and every 3rd weekend.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS, 1 year of clinical nursing, and strong communication, clinical judgment, and EHR proficiency.

Qualifications

• RN license required with active, unrestricted privileges.
• BLS certification mandatory; telehealth not required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engages in quality initiatives and governance to improve care.
• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
