Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking experienced registered nurses for the Nursing Float Pool. These full-time, 3x12 shifts (1900-0730) are assigned to Park Ridge or Oak Lawn hospitals, with a 36-hour work week and a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, monitoring patients, and contributing to safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications include an RN license, BLS, and typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice.
• BLS certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Must meet state licensure requirements for telehealth/telenursing, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Uphold a culture of safety and effective teamwork.
• Maintain timely EHR documentation and appropriate delegation.
