Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, and recording maintenance data.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and explains the venipuncture process clearly.
• Matches laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and ensures correct labeling and handling.
• Package specimens for transport and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
