Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen processing.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per test orders.
• Maintain accurate patient information and labeling against requisitions.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and safety procedures.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Attend annual department trainings and support workflow improvements.
