Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection according to established procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and package specimens for transport; maintain accurate patient information.
• Explain the venipuncture process in a clear and courteous manner to patients; troubleshoot workflow as needed.
• Attend department trainings and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
