Job summary

Blue Cloud is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Centers team in Cincinnati. This full-time role focuses on preoperative and postoperative care, patient education, and collaboration with surgeons, dentists, and anesthesia providers to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualified applicants are graduates of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in Ohio. ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active RN license in the state of practice (Ohio).
• ACLS within 30 days; BLS required; PALS within 90 days.
• Experience in perioperative, OR, PACU, or ASC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preoperative care areas and assess patients prior to surgery.
• Administer medications and initiate IV therapy; monitor in OR/PACU.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, dentists, and anesthesia team for safe care.
• Maintain documentation and ensure discharge education.
