Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Madison Heights, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our pediatric ASC care teams. You will provide postoperative nursing care and recovery-room assessments, coordinating with dentists and anesthesiologists to ensure safe anesthesia recovery.

We value strong work ethic and teamwork. Requirements include BLS on hire, ACLS/PALS within 60 days, and a nursing degree; BSN and ICU/perioperative experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• BLS required on hire; ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire.
• BSN preferred; ICU or perioperative nursing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
• Monitor patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.
