Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Pittsburgh is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time postoperative care in a pediatric ambulatory surgery setting. You will work within a close-knit clinical team to monitor patients, manage recovery, and ensure safety after anesthesia.

The role requires active RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS; ACLS and PALS are required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS certification on hire; ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
• Monitor patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.
