Shriners Children's – Spokane is seeking an Operating Room/PACU RN to join the Perioperative team. This role provides care in both the OR and PACU Phase I, supporting the Surgeon and Anesthesiologist during surgery and using nursing processes to ensure patient safety.

The position emphasizes pediatric care, teamwork, and adherence to asepsis and infection control standards. The team values professional communication, mentorship, and committee involvement.

Qualifications

• RN license WA required and BLS within 3 months of hire.
• PALS required within 3 months of hire.
• AORN certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room and Phase I Recovery Room.
• Support the Surgeon and Anesthesiologist during intraoperative care.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Follow infection control and asepsis guidelines.
