Job summary

Shriners Children’s – Spokane is seeking an Operating Room/PACU RN to join the Perioperative team. The RN will provide care in the OR and Phase I PACU for pediatric patients, supporting the surgeon and anesthesiologist during intraoperative care.

Requires WA RN license, BLS, and PALS with 3 months of hire; BSN preferred or in-process BSN agreement within five years. This on-site role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or nights.

Qualifications

• WA RN license is required.
• BLS is required with 3 months of hire.
• PALS is required with 3 months of hire.
• BSN preferred or in-process BSN agreement within five years from hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR and Phase I PACU.
• Supports the surgeon and anesthesiologist during intraoperative care.
• Performs assessments, IV starts, airway management, and aseptic technique.
• Promotes family-centered care and mentors colleagues.
