Job summary

Pediatric Associates of Barrington is seeking a Patient Representative for a 16-hour-per-week role with rotating Saturdays at our Crystal Lake and Barrington locations. You will be the first point of contact, help coordinate care, and ensure visits run smoothly in a pediatric setting.

Work is performed under the Practice Manager, with duties including scheduling, check-in/out, billing, and patient record handling. A friendly, teamwork-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• General computer knowledge.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Team player.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Office-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones, schedules appointments and verifies patient information.
• Completes check-in, check-out and end of day processing.
• Enters charges; collects and posts payments.
• Collects patient balances.
• Copies medical records.
• Scans incoming patient records/reports.
• Completes end of day processing.
• Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.
