Job summary

Pediatric Associates of Barrington is hiring a Medical Assistant to support providers and ensure smooth patient flow across our Crystal Lake and Barrington locations. The role covers vitals, rooming patients, in-office labs, and specimen handling, with rotating Saturdays and some evening shifts as needed.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong organization/communication skills, and experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred). CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Strong knowledge and comfort with EPIC or other EMR systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs vitals, rooms patients and gathers specimens
• Documents information in the EMR
• Collects specimens and conducts in-office lab testing
• Assists with in-office procedures per protocol
• Keeps office space and equipment clean and orderly
• Supports PediaTrust core values
