Job summary

OP Specialty Bracing in Stratford, CT is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator I to be the first point of contact for patients and referral sources. You will manage patient intake, insurance verification, scheduling, and care coordination with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced pediatric clinic. Prior experience with Nymbl software and HIPAA compliance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or Associate Degree; related experience and/or training.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out; register patients with insurance information.
• Verify patient insurance and initiate prior authorizations.
• Coordinate with referral sources to obtain physician schedules.
• Chart maintenance using Nymbl software.
• Support clinic staff and office flow.
