University of Utah Health seeks an Outpatient Services Specialist for our Pediatric Orthopaedic team. Join a fast-paced clinic environment with on-the-job training and exposure to EPIC, scheduling, and front-desk operations to support children and families.

You will primarily serve patients at Provo and Lehi locations, with occasional coverage in Salt Lake and Layton. No weekend shifts; a valid Utah driver’s license is required in some areas, and immunization per CDC standards is required to

Qualifications

• One year of office experience, customer service experience, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
• Experience with clinic scheduling and patient check-in/out is a plus.
• Must have a valid Utah driver’s license at time of hire in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-the-job learning across pediatric orthopedics to grow knowledge and confidence.
• Use EPIC to schedule appointments, complete registration, check patients in/out, and manage work queues.
• Triage patient phone calls and referrals to ensure correct clinics.
