Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply their passion for pediatric surgery and patient safety in a dynamic OR team.

The role requires OR (Peds) experience, a valid Ohio RN license, and BSN (or in progress). You will assess patients, assist surgeons, and ensure continuity of care from pre-op to post-op.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in the plan of care and ensures continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
