Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows flexible self-scheduling and is ideal for RNs with OR (Peds) experience.

Required are an Ohio RN license, BSN degree (in progress acceptable), and active BLS/ACLS certifications. CNOR is highly preferred; PALS is a plus. Background screening and onboarding are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Ohio RN license.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Minimum 2 years RN OR (Peds) experience.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CNOR preferred.
• PALS preferred.
• Pass background screening and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the pediatric OR and perform pre/intra/postoperative assessments.
• Assist physicians and ensure patient safety during surgery.
• Coordinate handoffs between patient care unit and OR.
