Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling and W2 employment, with preferred OR experience in pediatrics.

Candidates must hold Ohio RN license, BSN or in progress, and current BLS/ ACLS; CNOR is a plus. The role emphasizes patient safety, assessments, and coordination between care teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN OR (Peds) experience.
• Ohio RN license required; BSN preferred or in progress.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery, and ensures continuity between the patient care unit and OR.
