Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling and the chance to apply your passion for pediatric surgery.

The role requires at least 2 years of OR (Peds) experience, Ohio RN license, a BSN or current enrollment, and BLS/ACLS certifications. CNOR preferred; background screening and onboarding apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Pass background screening and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients within the operating room, performing assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and ensures continuity between the patient care unit and the OR.
