Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and being in the OR. Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

The OR RN role requires 2+ years in pediatric OR, Ohio RN license, BSN in progress or completed, and current BLS/ACLS. CNOR and PALS are preferred, with flexible PRN scheduling and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• RN with 2+ years OR (Peds) experience.
• Ohio RN license required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Able to pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
• Prior pediatric OR, plastics, laser experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery, and supports the physician in the plan of care.
