Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital located in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows you to contribute to patient care in the operating room and supports flexible, self-scheduling shifts.

The role requires OR experience with pediatrics, an Ohio RN license, and BSN (or in progress). BLS/ACLS are required; PALS preferred. W2 employment with weekly direct deposit and competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred; CNOR highly preferred.
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
• Pediatric OR, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR and assist in the plan of care.
• Maintain patient safety during surgery and ensure continuity between unit and OR.
