Job summary

Candidates should have at least 2 years of OR (Peds) experience, an Ohio RN license, and a BSN or be in progress, with BLS and ACLS required and PALS preferred. CNOR is highly preferred; background screening and onboarding apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Association Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
