Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join a Level I trauma center team. You will provide perioperative nursing care in complex cases, including general surgery, urology, ENT, plastics, and neurosurgery, with emphasis on scrub roles and patient safety.

We require at least 2 years of OR experience, current BLS, and certified scrub expertise. Travel nurses are excluded for first-time travelers; Indiana-based restrictions may apply after Nov 30, 2024, with exceptions

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of OR experience.
BLS certification is required and must be current.
Scrub experience is mandatory.
First-time travelers will not be considered.
Level I trauma center experience is preferred.
Licenses and certifications must be current and available upon application.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care for a range of surgical specialties.
Assist with scrubbing and circulating duties.
Support neonatal to adult patients across multiple specialties including ENT, Urology, Plastics, General Surgery and Neurosurgery.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level I trauma center.
Operate or assist with advanced equipment such as DaVinci, Stealth and ROSA.
