Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology required.
• Current certification as a surgical technologist required or 15 years of surgical tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standard of care for the perioperative patient.
• Coordinate, facilitate and manage department orientation for new teammates and students.
• Teach and facilitate teammate learning in the operating room setting.
• Aid in the advancement of clinical skills throughout the surgical setting.
• Collaborates with leadership to assess educational needs for the surgical team, licensed and non-licensed; develops and implements a plan to assist with these needs.
