Job summary

The Office of State Human Resources, Temporary Solutions division, seeks an Occupational Therapist (S) in Durham, NC. This temporary position requires NC licensure and focuses on evaluating children birth-three and determining eligibility for ITP services.

Qualifications

• This position requires licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina.
• Minimum education/experience as described in the class specification is used for screening.
• Knowledge of developmental evaluations and eligibility determination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eligibility determinations for ITP using standardized instruments and caregiver reports.
• Evaluate adaptive, communication, motor, cognitive and social-emotional development in children birth-three.
• Develop family service plans in collaboration with the team and provide treatment when needed.
• Support CDSA staff with consultation and guidance; manage multiple tasks with timelines.
