Job summary

North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) seeks an Occupational Therapist for the Infant-Toddler Program (birth to 3) across NC CDSAs. You will conduct evaluations and provide intervention within a multidisciplinary team, including assistive technology assessments.

Licensure in NC is required; experience with birth-to-three populations is essential. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, and travel across the CDSA catchment area is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of North Carolina.
• Experience with infants/toddlers birth to three.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT evaluations and treatment for 0–3-year-olds.
• Assess child and family needs for early intervention supports.
• Evaluate for appropriate assistive technology.
• Conduct developmental evaluations to determine eligibility for the Infant-Toddler Program.
