Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience: Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of North Carolina.

Note: This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the HDHP. Visit

Management Preference
  • Foundational knowledge of occupational therapy.
  • Foundational knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and treatment of persons with physical and cognitive challenges.
  • Effective written and oral communication, computer, and organizational skills for documentation and case management.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to work within the interdisciplinary team and communicate with management, peers, care providers, and students.
  • Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities is preferred but not required.
