Job summary

Kids Connections Developmental Therapy Center, a clinician-owned pediatric therapy practice, is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. You’ll work with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities, helping them acquire functional skills through playful, evidence-based interventions.

Our multidisciplinary environment enables collaboration with ABA and Speech therapists to support the whole child across clinic, home, and school settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• California OT license required; NBCOT certification/OTR registration required.
• Pediatric experience preferred; experience with autism/developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative multidisciplinary approach.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized occupational therapy services to children in clinic, home, school, and community.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on each child's needs and goals.
• Address fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and daily living skills.
• Use play-based and engaging activities to promote participation, independence, and skill development.
• Collect data and document progress through session notes and progress reports.
• Educate and train caregivers to support carryover of skills across environments.
• Collaborate with ABA, Speech, and other team members.
• Maintain confidential client records and therapy materials.
• Follow applicable clinical, safety, and documentation requirements.
