Job summary

Quest Pediatric Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative pediatric therapy team focused on helping children participate more independently in daily life.

Responsibilities include evaluation, goal setting, and developing individualized plans of care with a family-centered approach. You will work with families, other therapists, and care-team members to support meaningful outcomes for children and their families.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma Occupational Therapist license or eligibility.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document medical necessity and communicate with families and team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to meet documentation and billing expectations.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary pediatric therapy team.

Responsibilities

• Review physician referrals and select appropriate evaluation procedures.
• Evaluate children across OT domains and identify factors limiting independence.
• Develop individualized plans of care using assessment results and family concerns.
• Establish short- and long-term goals and determine frequency/duration of services.
• Provide skilled, evidence-informed OT interventions based on each child's needs and goals.
• Communicate progress and recommendations with families to support carryover outside therapy.
• Collaborate with SLP, PT, OTAs, and other team members.
• Maintain timely documentation supporting medical necessity and payer/organizational requirements.
• Manage a full-time caseload including insurance, school-based, and private-pay services.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and mentor OT students where applicable.
