Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital in Akron, Ohio seeks a Clinical Coordinator for the 7pm–7:30am night shift. This full-time role supports unit operations and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on the assigned unit.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, an active Ohio RN license, and 2+ years of leadership experience, with strong communication and organizational skills. MS Office and BLS are required; certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required or in progress with completion within 2 years.
• Minimum 2 years relevant clinical experience with demonstrated management/leadership abilities.
• Previous charge nurse or other leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction to unit goals and work environment.
• Maintains unit safety for staff and patients.
• Participates in performance improvement.
• Supports staff recruitment and retention efforts.
• Manages staffing plan and daily shift staffing.
• Coaches and evaluates nursing personnel.
