University Hospitals Urgent Care in Willoughby, OH, is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver age-appropriate care for patients aged 0–26 in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role emphasizes pediatric and adolescent health and requires collaboration with center physicians.

Qualifications

• Pediatric NP license required.
• 5+ years of pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Active medical license in state of practice or ability to obtain licensure.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Experience with suturing and incision/drainage.
• Experience interpreting X-rays and EKGs.
• Ability to meet credentialing requirements at University Hospitals Urgent Care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative clinical team.
• Willingness to travel to other centers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients ages 0-26, with emphasis on pediatric and adolescent care.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice, including suturing, incision and drainage, and splinting.
• Read and interpret diagnostic studies such as X-rays and EKGs; document thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
• Collaborate with physicians and center team to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
• Participate in meetings, operational activities, and professional development.
• Maintain required certifications and center credentialing.
