You will collaborate with center physicians to provide exceptional care for children and their families.

The role requires a PNP license, 5+ years pediatric clinical experience, DEA, BLS/PALS, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner license required.
• 5+ years pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Active medical license in the state or ability to obtain licensure.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Experience interpreting X-rays and EKGs.
• Willingness to travel to other centers as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients ages 0–26, with emphasis on pediatric/adolescent care.
• Perform procedures within scope, including suturing and incision/drainage.
• Read and interpret diagnostic studies such as X-rays and EKGs.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and center team to provide high‑quality care.
• Participate in center meetings and professional development.
• Travel to other UH Urgent Care centers as needed.
