Job summary

University Hospitals Urgent Care is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide age-appropriate care for patients ages 0–26 in a fast-paced urgent care setting in Medina, Ohio. You will work closely with center physicians to deliver high-quality care to children and families.

The ideal candidate will have a pediatric focus, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate in a team-driven environment, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• PNP license in the state of practice.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• 2+ years pediatric clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients ages 0–26 with emphasis on pediatric and adolescent care.
• Perform procedures such as suturing and incision/drainage.
• Read and interpret X-rays and EKGs.
• Educate families on care plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and coordinate with the care team.
• Travel to other UH Urgent Care centers as needed.
