Job summary

University Hospitals Urgent Care is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care for patients ages 0-26 in a fast-paced urgent care setting in Kent, OH. The role emphasizes pediatric and adolescent care within a collaborative clinical team.

You will evaluate and treat pediatric patients, perform procedures, interpret diagnostics, educate families, and maintain thorough documentation. Flexible FT/36h or PT/24h schedules with strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• PNP license required and active in practice state.
• Minimum 5+ years of pediatric clinical experience.
• Active medical license and DEA registration.
• BLS and PALS certifications current.
• Strong pediatric patient care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients 0-26 with emphasis on pediatric/adolescent care.
• Perform suturing and incision/drainage when needed.
• Read and interpret X-rays and EKGs.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Collaborate with center physicians and the care team.
• Participate in meetings and professional development.
• Travel to other UH Urgent Care centers as needed.
