Job summary

University Hospitals Urgent Care is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, age-appropriate care for patients ages 0–26 in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate will have pediatric clinical experience, an active state license, DEA, BLS and PALS, and enjoy collaborating with physicians while engaging families. Travel to other UH Urgent Care centers is required to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Pediatric NP license and active state license.
• DEA registration and BLS/PALS certifications.
• 5+ years of pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Strong skills in suturing, incision/drainage, and interpreting X-rays/EKGs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients aged 0–26 with emphasis on pediatric and adolescent care.
• Perform procedures such as suturing and incision/drainage; splinting as needed.
• Read and interpret X-rays and EKGs; educate patients and families.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and collaborate with center physicians.
• Travel to other UH Urgent Care centers as needed to support business needs.
