Job summary

PediaTrust LLC is seeking a Nurse Coordinator to lead clinical staff, coach nursing teams, and handle administrative duties in our Barrington/Crystal Lake clinics. The role emphasizes patient care flow, EMR proficiency, and adherence to practice policies.

The candidate will oversee staff training, scheduling, and collaboration with front-office teams to optimize patient experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to train and monitor staff to support the clinical team.
• Understanding of electronic medical records including scheduling and charting.
• Strong problem-solving, data collection, and communication skills.
• Ambulatory nursing experience required.
• Two years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs at a subject matter expert level on all nursing duties.
• Supports and maintains the policies, procedures and regulations of the practice.
• Assists in recruiting, provides training, orientation of staff, and maintains training/competency logs.
• Creates and monitors staff schedules in accordance to the needs of the practice.
• Monitors patient schedules for accuracy and collaborates with front office to correct errors.
• Ensures efficient patient flow with office staff.
• Stays current with EMR and digital health workflows and updates training accordingly.
• Orders supplies and equipment; maintains PAR levels; assists in repairs with the Practice Manager.
• Communicates with the Practice Manager on clinic operations and staff performance.
• Models and coaches PediaTrust Core Values.
