Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 3 years RN experience.
• Licensed RN in Illinois.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Telemetry competency.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Clear English communication, both verbal and written.
• Compliant with Illinois Practice Act for Nursing and ANA standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for hospitalized patients using the nursing process.
• Lead unit operations and oversee daily staff activities.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and health team members.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation accuracy.
• Monitor patient safety and ensure appropriate staff assignments by acuity.
• Participate in staff education, orientation and performance evaluations.
