Pediatrics Gastroenterology & Nutrition of Tampa Bay in Tampa, FL is seeking a motivated Medical Office Supervisor to lead our dedicated front office team. You will oversee scheduling, billing workflows, HIPAA compliance, and staff development to deliver a smooth patient experience in a fast-paced pediatric specialty

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a medical office setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance verification processes.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management software.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced pediatric specialty environment.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily front and back office operations to ensure a smooth, efficient patient experience.
• Supervise, train, and mentor medical office staff including scheduling, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Manage patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and billing workflows.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare office policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient flow and appointment management.
• Handle patient concerns and escalations with professionalism and empathy.
• Monitor office supply inventory and manage vendor relationships as needed.
