Job summary

PM Pediatric Care in New York seeks a Licensed Master Social Worker to join its Behavioral Health Program. The role delivers psychosocial assessments and counseling for common primary care conditions within an extended collaborative model.

Schedule options include 5 days 1:00pm-9:00pm or 4 ten-hour days, with Saturdays in person. Experience with pediatrics, teletherapy, and discharge planning is preferred. Competitive benefits and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
• Licensed in NY (LMSW/LCSW or LMHC) or equivalent.
• Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments per evidence-based practices.
• Provide counseling and therapy for patients using evidence-based modalities.
• Demonstrate competency as individual, family, and group therapist.
• Maintain professional development per licensing board requirements.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and team to overcome treatment obstacles.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
