PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Clinical Therapist (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) to join our Behavioral Health Program. The role involves psychosocial assessments, counseling for pediatric patients, and collaboration with families in an extended primary care model.

Work options include 5 days 1:00pm-9:00pm or 4 ten-hour days; Saturdays are required in person; other days can be remote. Salary ranges $65,000-$85,000 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field required.
• Relevant therapist license in NY (LMSW-NY, LCSW-NY, or LMHC-NY) required.
• Must have NY Medicaid Provider Number for LCSWs & LMHCs.
• Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to interact with diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Knowledge of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with discharge planning.

Responsabilités

• Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence-based practices.
• Provide counseling and therapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Maintain professional development as required by licensing.
• Complete required documentation including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and the care team to overcome treatment obstacles.
• Maintain a caseload of 30-35 patients weekly and a minimum of 5 patients daily.
• Respond quickly to urgent or emergent needs.
