Job summary

PM Pediatrics seeks a Licensed Master Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Program in New York. This role offers two schedule options: 5 days 1:00pm-9:00pm or 4 10-hour days with two 11:00am-9:00pm and two 8:00am-6:00pm days, with SATURDAYS in person and the rest remote.

You will perform psychosocial assessments, provide individual/family/group therapy, document promptly, and maintain a caseload of 30-35 weekly while collaborating with the care team in a primary care model.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field required.
• Relevant therapist license in NY (LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC) required.
• Experience with pediatric/adolescent patients is essential.
• Teletherapy experience with children/adolescents preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Able to interact across cultures with strong communication skills.
• Experience with discharge planning and case management.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments per evidence based practices.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence based modalities.
• Maintain professional development as required by licensing board.
• Complete documents: biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans timely.
• Collaborate with patient, family and team to overcome treatment barriers.
• Maintain a caseload of 30–35 patients weekly and at least 5 daily.
• Respond quickly to urgent or emergent needs; ensure policy compliance.
